About this program
This SMS program is operated by NMAO Inc. for prospective martial arts school owners who are considering onboarding onto the NMAO platform. It is separate from the operational messaging that NMAO-powered Schools send to their own members. This page describes the onboarding messaging program only.
Messages you will receive
After you opt in, you may receive text messages related to onboarding onto the NMAO platform, including: scheduling and confirming your onboarding call, appointment reminders, replies to questions you have initiated, and occasional updates to help you complete your account setup. These messages are operational and customer-care focused. NMAO does not use this program for marketing, advertising, or promotional content on behalf of third parties.
How you opt in
You provide express consent to receive text messages from NMAO in one of two ways:
- On our booking page at onboard.nmao.us, by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box, which is unchecked by default and optional.
- By texting us first to begin a conversation.
NMAO does not message purchased, rented, or compiled contact lists. Only individuals who have taken one of the actions above will receive text messages. Providing consent is optional and is not a condition of booking an onboarding call or of any purchase.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity and where you are in the onboarding process.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier's plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to opt out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opt-out is immediate; we will send a one-time confirmation and then send no further messages from this program unless you opt back in. To opt back in, reply START.

How your SMS opt-in data is handled
We do not sell, rent, lease, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or related consent information to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data is used only to deliver the messages you have consented to receive, and is shared only with the service providers necessary to operate the messaging service — principally Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, which is bound by contract to handle this information only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. SMS opt-in data is not used for cross-platform advertising, behavioral tracking, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the messages you have requested.
Privacy
For this program, NMAO collects the contact information you provide — such as your name, email, mobile number, and school name — to communicate with you about onboarding and to provide our services. We retain this information, including a record of your SMS consent, for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. You may request access to or deletion of your information by emailing support@nmao.us. This program is also governed by our general Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nassau County, New York.
